BEST Updates- August 3, 2010
BEST Season is well under way, and things are in full swing. Some of our teachers, mentors and volunteers met up this past Thursday to share their stories and insight. Many teachers will attend an informal online meeting this Saturday.
We are holding off scheduling in-person workshops until our new equipment arrives, BUT….mark your calendars for Saturdays Aug. 21, Aug. 28 and Sept. 11th. We will be hosting various workshops for teachers, mentors and students on various Saturdays and possibly an evening or two within those dates also.
Mark your calendar for Sept. 9th. We will host Industry Night for all teams, teachers, parents and community! Three prominent manufacturers from our area will engage the audience by sharing how they run an efficient production line using robots! Pizza and drinks! We want a huge crowd….start spreading the word. (Hosted in Davidson HS auditorium)
